Using a Nokia N70 as a modem over bluetooth with a PowerBook

I had no problems with using my old 7610 as a modem, using Ross Barkman's excellent modem scripts. Yesterday I tried to set up my nice new N70 as a bluetooth modem. I grabbed Ross' Nokia 3G scripts and spoke to Vodafone, who sent me the relevant phone config and then... nothing.

Update, 5 April 2006: Mac OS X 10.4.6 includes iSync 2.2, which supports the N70 out of the box, which means that you can happily remove the iSync Agent app, which solves the clash, so you only need to follow the easy three-step process just below.

Update, 5 April 2006: Mac OS X 10.4.6 includes iSync 2.2, which supports the N70 out of the box, so you can ignore this if you've got it. You can happily remove the iSync Agent app, which also solves the N70-as-a-modem clash as a bonus!
