Living with the future

Originally intended to be sent to the magazine Thirdway as a reaction to an essay of Graham Cray's in the book SPCK published in response to Dave Tomlinson's "The Post-evangelical". I was annoyed then, and in some ways I still am, but it never got sent because I changed a great deal and I wanted to revisit it later on. I never did get round to it...
