Why compromise
An image-based project which aimed to produce integrated text and image. The theme of the project was the production of promotional material for an art exhibition, or something similar. I chose obsession as my subject matter.
Notes on construction
The book was constructed quite oddly, so I'll explain a little about it. The PDF has all the spreads in, and the book made extensive use of fold-out pages, which is why spreads have between two and four pages. The book was originally going to have each spread printed separately and then sewn into the cover. What I ended up doing was spraymounting the spreads together and then into the cover, which worked remarkably well and gave a really good, neat, finish. The diagram below shows how the book's pagination works.
