My personally-directed project. I wanted to produce a record of my work on the web-publishing system I'd produced for my department, the Department of Typography & Graphic Communication at the University of Reading. I wrote, designed and typeset the book. The principal aim of the book was to communicate the experience of designing and programming the system to non-programmers (my tutors...) and I think that it went some way towards that. It won an award: The examiner's award for excellence in a single piece of practical work.
