Lee Abbey Youth Camp flyer

The front of the Lee Abbey Youth Camp flyer, 2001

Lee Abbey Youth Camp, a summer camp for 13–18 year olds in Devon, and with which I have been involved for several years, needed a new flyer to advertise itself. I had a limited budget and format to work with, giving me two colours and 4pp A5 to work with. I had taken a reasonable amount of photographs over several years and was able to edit down to a selection which I thought showed some of the different aspects of camp life: community, play, and worship.

The quite stripped down use of two colours was in marked contrast to previous Camp flyers, as well as the flyers of the other Lee Abbey summer camp (there are two separate camps, which are for different age groups). The flyer's aim was to be arresting, and the client liked what was done, and feedback from users seems to have been positive.
